Win $5000 for yourself and $5000 for Waste Not Want Not! Birdies For Charity is in Full Swing.

Birdies for Charity is a unique, community-based fundraising initiative held in conjunction with THE PLAYERS Championship at TPC Sawgrass.  

When you visit www.birdiesforcharity.playerschampionship.com and make a donation to Waste Not Want Not, you will have a shot at winning $10,000.  When you make your donation, you will be asked to guess the total number of birdies that will be made during the competition rounds of the tournament.  The individual who guesses the exact number of birdies made (or closet thereto) at the 2012 PLAYERS will win $5,000. In addition, the charity that the individual supports with their entry, will receive an additional $5,000 bonus.  (In the event of a tie, a tie-breaker question will be used to determine the winner. Deadline for all entries is Wednesday, May 9.  The number of birdies made in prior years is shown on the website to help you with your guess.)

The needy of North Florida served by Waste Not Want Not will be the real winners if you participate, since all monies raised in support of Waste Not will go directly to putting food in the hands of hungry families.
